
Tom McKlin, Ph.D.
Tom has over a decade of experience evaluating federal programs, serves on numerous federal proposal review panels, and serves as an invited guest lecturer on several evaluation topics. He has run The Findings Group, LLC since 2008. Before that, he directed evaluation at Georgia Tech’s Center for Education Integrating Science, Math, and Computing (CEISMC). He has a Ph.D in Instructional Technology and a Master’s Degree in Applied Linguistics. His current research interests include Social Network Analysis, Assessing Content Knowledge, Pedagogical Content Knowledge, and stereotype threat. He lives in Atlanta and supports numerous federally-funded clients through grants from NSF, NIH, U.S. DOE, and DOD. Here’s some of our published work on ResearchGate.

Taneisha Lee, Ph.D.
Taneisha is a Lead Evaluator at The Findings Group, LLC, a research and evaluation firm that serves K-16 public education organizations and programs. Dr. Lee is a trained qualitative and quantitative methodologist with a research focus in youth development and underrepresented student access to postsecondary education and STEM careers. Dr. Lee has professional experience developing and managing several academic mentoring programs funded by private foundations and federal grants. She has served as an evaluator on multisite and longitudinal early childhood, K-12, and postsecondary education programs. Dr. Lee’s involvement included instrument development, data collection, and analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data. Dr. Lee has served as an instructor at Georgia State University teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Program Evaluation and Research Methods.

Emily Dobar
Emily has worked as a Data Scientist at The Findings Group since 2017, where she supports the team by way of instrument development, data collection, quantitative analysis, and reporting for clients. She has a BA in Mathematics-Economics from Agnes Scott College and an MS in Analytics from Georgia Tech, and she is currently a PhD student in Learning Science at Georgia State University. Her research interests include academic risk-taking, collaborative learning, AI integration, data literacy, and critical quantitative methodologies. Outside of work, Emily has a passion for music and community service, especially with projects involving education and children, and plays the alto saxophone as part of the Newton County Community Band.

Lorelei Cooper
Lorelei is the Business Manager at the Findings Group. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and moved to the Atlanta Area in 2004. She studied Sociology and Early Child Development while in California earning her AA degree in Sociology from Pierce College. Her career includes over 20 years of office administration and management. She currently lives in Decatur, Georgia where she is also the managing editor of a local community magazine. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time cooking and dancing. She also loves to swim with her son whenever the pool is open. Please contact her with any questions or feedback.

Dorothy (Katie) Bryans
Katie Bryans is the Marketing Specialist at The Findings Group. She holds a BBA in Marketing from Georgia Southwestern State University. Since 2020, she has managed the organization’s website and LinkedIn, as well as provided some marketing support for clients. Katie’s work is informed by a strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset, and a dedication to creating meaningful, impactful experiences. She combines creativity with a structured approach to deliver high-quality results. Outside of work, she enjoys watching movies, baking, and spending time with her family.
